Town pitches in to help neighbors

By Trevor Stokes Staff Writer For the past three days, Joel Perez wakes up tired at 5 a.m., takes a quick, cold shower and heads out for a day's labor. His apartment in Campbell Arms in Phil Campbell was spared from the devastating tornado Wednesday, but each morning, he leaves his pregnant girlfriend and his 6-month-old son and returns after curfew at 10 p.m.
