Canadian rockers take their cue from early '90s Seattle

Every band wants some kind of identity and, for better or worse, Theory of a Deadman got one with its third album, "Scars & Souvenirs." "We had a song, 'Bad Girlfriend,' that was hugely successful and that kind of epitomized the band," says singer Tyler Connolly. It's a hard rock song a la Nickelback about a nasty girl in a red thong who's "hot, can't stop, up on stage doing shots."
