The next time you reach for a pen, think of Kim Taylor and Bill O’Brien. O’Brien had lived on the second floor of his Congress Street home in Stoneham for five years before a major fire destroyed the home on Monday, Oct. 10. He was asleep until he heard a neighbor yelling, and soon he heard Taylor, his girlfriend, screaming that the house was on fire.
